Loneliness and isolation

This message is for you if you're feeling lonely and isolated from people and the things happening in your life.

This is the worst way to be, because you probably feel really disconnected from everything going on around you.

You might be trying to find a place to be, but it's really hard. You might feel numb, and cut off from conversations with people.

If this is happening to you, it's because you feel you don't belong anywhere. You don't have the confidence to be who you are, or do what you want to do.

You might feel really lazy or apathetic and can't be bothered even getting out of bed. You might wish night would come so you can sleep and the whole day can be over. If this sounds like you, then you need to know, we can help.

You see everyone has a birthright to explore who they are and be included in this world. Everyone has the right to be involved in a meaningful life where they feel liked and are loved for being themselves.

Believe in yourself, find someone who understands you, and reach out and tell them how hard it is for you. If you've done this and it hasn't worked it's because something might have gone wrong in your earlier life, which hasn't been fixed and it's sitting in the back of your mind as a hurt that you may have forgotten about.

Feeling disconnected is not a natural state to be in, but if you are, then you need to be released from this awful feeling. The real you is locked away, covered over by a hurt of some kind.

By clearing that forgotten or hurtful memory you will find the real you and your life will feel like it is beginning again. You will feel able to belong somewhere and will become creative again.

Breaking your isolation is going to be the most powerful thing you can do to break out of this cycle. Don't give up until you find a place to belong and someone who will support you.
