You know, food doesn't have to be your enemy. You can build a better relationship with food, so that it doesn't control or affect the rest of your life.
You can break the cycle of struggling to keep your secret obsession about food, a secret. You can get rid of the overwhelming burden that you carry 24-7, and be on your way to total recovery.
At the moment, you may well feel like food is the only way you can cope with everything, but you can get rid of this destructive relationship with food.
You can live a life where your every thought isn't consumed by food and the effect it has on your body. It requires a lot of concentration, organisation and hard work, but by reading this you have already taken the first step.
Talking to someone will help you lose your feeling of isolation and let you see that you aren't alone. You may need some guidance to get there, but you can do it. Your family doctor or a counsellor may be able to assist you to take your first steps out of the madness.
